Bayelsa State Governor Hon. Seriake Dickson has reaffirmed his admnistration's commitment to partner with law enforcement agencies in the state, towards securing lives and property, particularly the protection of the nation's oil and gas assets.

Governor Dickson made the remark, while receiving the Assistant Commandant-General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), in charge of Zone G, Mr. Bassey O. Bassey in Government House, Yenagoa.

The government of Bayelsa State and relevant stakeholders in the civil service, labour and traditional rulers on Wednesday in Yenagoa, endorsed a number of reforms aimed at restructuring the public service for effective delivery.
The meeting was also aimed at checking the syndrome of ghost workers and other unwholesome practices in the public service.
